Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in Brussels that Budapest will not unblock a decision in favor of Ukraine until the Druzhba oil pipeline resumes operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> “European Truth”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before the start of the European Council meeting, Orban stressed that Hungary’s position remains unchanged. Budapest is allegedly ready to support Ukraine, but only after the pipeline is restored.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, by that time, there will be no decision that will be favorable for Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are waiting for oil. Everything else is just a fairy tale. Therefore, we only believe in facts. Oil must reach Hungary\u2026 Until then, we cannot support any pro-Ukrainian proposal,\u201d the politician noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukraine recently agreed to the European Union’s offer of financial and technical assistance<\/a> to restore the Druzhba oil pipeline, damaged by a Russian attack.<\/p>\n

Previously, some European countries and the European Commission asked Ukraine to provide access<\/a> to the damaged section of the oil pipeline, but were allegedly refused.<\/p>\n

It was recently reported that on March 18 , experts from European Union countries will inspect a section of the Druzhba oil pipeline<\/a> damaged after a Russian attack.<\/p>\n

However, the day before, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Ukraine had no information about the visit of a European delegation<\/a> to inspect the damaged section of the Druzhba oil pipeline.<\/p>\n
