The Ukrainian side informed European partners in detail about the Russian attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline and presented a reconstruction plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced by<\/span><\/a> Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said that a meeting took place with the EU Deputy Ambassador Gediminas Navitskas and a technical group, during which the Europeans were told about the consequences of the Russian attack on the oil pipeline infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, partners were informed about the \u201ccurrent state of affairs\u201d and a recovery plan was presented.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNaftogaz Group appreciates the EU’s offer of financial and technical assistance to rebuild the infrastructure assets of the Brody pumping station in accordance with the best European engineering and safety standards and to counter repeated terrorist attacks,\u201d Koretsky emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, some European countries and the European Commission asked Ukraine to provide access<\/a> to the damaged section of the oil pipeline, but were allegedly refused.<\/p>\n

It was recently reported that on March 18 , experts from European Union countries will inspect a section of the Druzhba oil pipeline<\/a> damaged after a Russian attack.<\/p>\n

However, the day before, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Ukraine had no information about the visit of a European delegation<\/a> to inspect the oil pipeline.<\/p>\n
