The Prosecutor General’s Office, together with the State Bureau of Investigation, is conducting a pre-trial investigation into People’s Deputy Maryana Bezuglaya in a treason case.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> RBC-Ukraine, citing a comment from the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine and a source in law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As noted in the Prosecutor General’s Office, information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations in compliance with the decisions of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv upon the applicants’ applications.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the UCP.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“The investigation is currently ongoing, so any details can only be reported to the extent that they do not harm the investigation,” the Prosecutor General’s Office noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Law enforcement officials have not yet revealed other details of the case.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Maryana Bezugla herself responded to the message on social media. She posted a photo on Facebook<\/a> with the caption: “Don’t scare me.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As previously reported,the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv ordered the Prosecutor General’s Office to initiate a pre-trial investigation into Roman Chervinsky’s statement regarding People’s Deputy Maryana Bezugla.<\/a><\/p>\n
