Law enforcement officers are documenting schemes for misappropriating budget funds that were supposed to be used for patient treatment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This was reported <a href=\"https:\/\/npu.gov.ua\/news\/natspolitsiia-provodyt-70-obshukiv-u-medzakladakh-po-vsii-ukraini?fbclid=IwY2xjawQp2vRleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFRc0VqZXhqWFdlcGM0WUNac3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHt6TIffrVxVK20h-JryNvP1_kPQNgFG2NW8XrQJQV8uq1GCrgkxVVHGSsIIE_aem_UiDW7apxwU6YmA0keOrH8Q\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">by the press service<\/a> of the National Police.<\/p>\n<p> According to the investigation, the case involves fictitious medical services and manipulation of data in the electronic healthcare system. According to preliminary estimates, the amount of losses could reach hundreds of millions of hryvnias.<\/p>\n<p> Investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police, operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations, territorial police units, as well as prosecutors&#8217; offices with the assistance of the Ministry of Health and the National Health Service of Ukraine, are involved in the investigative actions.<\/p>\n<p> Pre-trial investigation is carried out under a number of articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in particular:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> misappropriation and embezzlement of property;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> abuse of power or official position;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> official forgery;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> interference with the operation of automated systems;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> official negligence;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> legalization of proceeds from crime.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> The police noted that the sanctions of the incriminated articles provide for a penalty of up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.<\/p>\n<p> Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and law enforcement officers are identifying all persons involved in illegal activities.<\/p>\n<p> We will remind you that within the sixth stage of Operation Guardian, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ponad-120-obshukiv-ta-110-pidozr-v-ukraini-provely-masshtabnu-operatsiiu-z-vyiavlennia-skhem-dlia-ukhyliantiv\/\">law enforcement officers uncovered new facts of evasion from military service in Ukraine<\/a> . Based on the results of investigative actions, suspicions were declared against 110 servicemen and civilians.<\/p>\n<p> Earlier, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/feykovi-dovidky-i-vtechi-cherez-trubu-novi-zatrymannia-ukhyliantiv\/\">the SBU and the National Police exposed eight more organizers of mobilization evasion schemes<\/a> in various regions of Ukraine.
