The “Ukrainian Security Dialogues” platform, created for professional discussions in the field of national security, has launched in Kyiv. The first discussion was attended by MPs, educators, and experts, who focused on the humanitarian dimension of security.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The initiators of the creation of the platform were the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrinform news agency. The first meeting was dedicated to countering Russian propaganda, fake news, and hostile narratives.<\/p>\n

The event participants separately drew attention to the impact of information threats on young people. In particular, they discussed Russia’s attempts to influence teenagers and use them in its own operations.<\/p>\n

“This event is extremely important because it marks the launch of the Ukrainian Security Readings as a platform for bringing together specialists, experts in cultural, language, security, linguistic, historical efforts and countering cognitive warfare,” said Andriy Chernyak, rector of the National Academy of the SBU.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that it is about building cognitive resilience of both individual citizens and society as a whole, as well as readiness to counter modern challenges.<\/p>\n

“This is a vivid example of a private-public partnership that we are initiating and expanding, and trying to be a real platform,” Andriy Chernyak added.<\/p>\n

The event also presented the first edition of the “Ukrainian Security Studies” series – the monograph “The Humanitarian Dimension of Security”. <\/p>\n
