In the Donetsk region, fighters of the 59th separate assault brigade hit a Russian Ka-52 helicopter using an FPV drone.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by Advisor to the Minister of Defense, volunteer and public figure Serhiy Sternenko.<\/p>\n

According to him, the defeat occurred in the Pokrovsky direction.<\/p>\n

“In the Pokrov direction, fighters of the 59th OSH Brigade shot down a Russian Ka-52 with an FPV drone,” said Sergey Sternenko.<\/p>\n

After the information appeared on the Internet, images of the Russian helicopter from different angles began to be published.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, the 59th Airborne Brigade’s fighters said that the vehicle, worth about $16 million, was destroyed by a small drone in the hands of an experienced pilot.<\/p>\n

“This is no longer a coincidence. This is the result of the coordinated work and skill of our guys,” the military emphasized.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, video footage appeared in the public domain, recording the moment of the hit, as well as the condition of the helicopter after being hit. <\/p>\n
