Gas station chains in Ukraine continue to raise fuel prices, despite declining demand among drivers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> DeepState, citing internal sources in the premium segment of gas stations.<\/p>\n

According to them, market operators are deliberately raising prices to increase profits. At the same time, some networks cannot sell off old fuel stocks.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The reason is that drivers have begun to massively switch to cheaper gas stations. The current price per liter is forcing Ukrainians to save even on basic expenses.<\/p>\n

At the same time, objective factors – new purchases and logistics – also influence the formation of costs. However, according to sources, these factors do not explain the current level of prices charged by individual gas station chains.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, the so-called \u201cfuel\u201d cashback program has been in effect in Ukraine since March 20.<\/a> Drivers can receive a portion of the money spent on refueling \u2014 up to 15%, depending on the type of fuel.<\/p>\n
