On the night of March 21, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the facilities of the Saratov Oil Refinery in the Saratov Region of Russia. According to preliminary data, key elements of the enterprise were damaged.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The report notes that the damage was inflicted on the facilities of an enterprise that provides oil refining and the production of fuels and lubricants for the needs of the occupation army.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary information, an oil secondary processing unit and a vertical tank of the RVS-10000 type were damaged. At the same time, the final extent of the damage is being clarified.<\/p>\n

The Saratov Oil Refinery is one of the oldest enterprises of its type in Russia. As of 2023, its refining capacity was 4.8 million tons.<\/p>\n

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the continuation of strikes on important enemy targets.<\/p>\n

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to strike important enemy targets until the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped,” the message says.<\/p>\n

By the way, on the night of March 20, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck at Russian military-industrial complex facilities in the temporarily occupied territories<\/a> . Additionally, damage to an A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft after being hit on March 17 was confirmed.<\/p>\n

The day before, on the night of Thursday, March 19, the Stavropol Territory of the Russian Federation was subjected to a massive drone attack<\/a> . The main target was probably the Nevinnomyssk Azot chemical plant. Dozens of powerful explosions were heard there.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two factories in Russia<\/a> – an aircraft manufacturing plant in the Ulyanovsk region and an aircraft repair plant in the Novgorod region.<\/p>\n
