The Russian occupation forces launched a spring-summer campaign, trying to break through the main line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk region. The main blow is currently falling on the Lyman direction, which the invaders consider a bridgehead for further advancement to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported<\/a> by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).<\/p>\n

It is noted that the occupiers have intensified offensive actions in eastern Ukraine, likely launching a large-scale spring-summer campaign against the main line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk region, known as the “belt of fortresses.”<\/p>\n

ISW analysts emphasize that the Invaders are seeking to create conditions for encircling key strongholds by pulling equipment to the Kramatorsk and Kostyantynivka directions. At the same time, the enemy is intensifying artillery shelling and air raids using guided bombs.<\/p>\n

Such actions are aimed at destroying the logistical routes of the Ukrainian defenders and weakening their defensive capabilities before new assaults. Despite the pressure, the situation on the front remains controlled thanks to the resilience of the units holding the strategic heights of the region.<\/p>\n\t\t
