On the morning of March 23, two unknown objects exploded near an apartment building in Bucha<\/span><\/span> , Kyiv Oblast<\/span><\/span> . Two law enforcement officers were injured in the incident.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration<\/a> and the Kyiv Regional Police<\/a> .<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Around 5:35 a.m., a local resident contacted the police to report an explosion on the street. The blast wave damaged the windows of her home.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

When police, rescue workers, and bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene, another explosion occurred. As a result, two law enforcement officers sustained moderate injuries and were hospitalized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

While there is no threat to their lives, they will continue to undergo outpatient treatment.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The area around the incident has been cordoned off, and an investigation is underway for other explosive devices. Police have preliminarily classified the incident as a terrorist attack.<\/p>\n

The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration,<\/span><\/span> Mykola Kalashnik,<\/span><\/span> urged residents to exercise caution and avoid approaching suspicious objects, but to immediately report them to the appropriate authorities.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Iryna Herashchenko, co-chair of the European Solidarity faction, said the terrorist attack in Lviv has re-ignited public debate about anonymous platforms.<\/a> She noted that EU MPs have long been demanding the de-anonymization of Telegram, but the authorities have blocked the relevant bill.<\/p>\n
