There have been no direct talks between Iran and the United States, and US President Donald Trump has not abandoned his military plans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced<\/span><\/a> by the Iranian pro-government Mehr news agency, citing the Foreign Ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n

As noted, Trump’s statements are aimed at reducing energy prices and buying time to implement US military plans.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are initiatives from the countries of the region to reduce tensions, and our response to all of them is clear: we are not the party that started this war, and all these requests should be conveyed to Washington,\u201d the publication quotes.<\/span><\/p>\n
