The government plans to increase funding for road works and attract additional resources to restore infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

She instructed the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development to intensify work on attracting funds, including under state guarantees and in cooperation with international partners.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the Prime Minister, repair work is ongoing across the country. Since the beginning of the year, more than 1 million square meters of damage has already been repaired – the highest figure in the last six years.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

By the end of March, the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure should reach maximum daily volumes of work. By May 1, they plan to complete current repairs on international highways, and by June 1 – major works.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A separate priority is roads that provide front-line logistics, as well as military, medical, and humanitarian transportation.<\/p>\n

“Units of the State Security Service of Ukraine will begin repairs in a 30-kilometer zone from the line of combat contact. The list of roads has already been agreed with the military,” Svyrydenko noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

An additional 1.5 billion hryvnias have been allocated for these works.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In total, the government has already allocated UAH 3 billion from the reserve fund, and another UAH 12.6 billion has been allocated in the 2026 budget for road repair and maintenance.<\/p>\n
