These changes apply to children who are not enrolled in school, and not to monitoring each individual missed lesson.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"577\" data-end=\"773\"> If a child does not attend school for a long time without good reason, educational institutions enter the relevant data into electronic systems and notify children&#8217;s services and the police.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"775\" data-end=\"931\"> Law enforcement officers only get involved when it is necessary to find out the reasons for the absence, return the child to school, or check the conditions of his upbringing and safety.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"998\"> The police emphasize that this is not a response mechanism for every truancy.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1179\"> Parents can only be held liable if they have proven to have failed to fulfill their child-rearing responsibilities.
