The Bureau of Economic Security has opened two criminal proceedings against blogger Volodymyr Zolkin on suspicion of tax evasion and money laundering.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n

According to him, on March 13, the BEB opened cases under articles on tax evasion in particularly large amounts and legalization of property obtained by criminal means.<\/p>\n

Zheleznyak said that he had previously submitted to the Bureau the collected materials regarding the blogger’s activities. This includes, in particular, possible income from the YouTube channel and property assets.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the deputy, some of the funds could have come through related structures, after which they were allegedly legalized through the purchase of property.<\/p>\n

Zheleznyak also reported that Zolkin was removed from the service in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. According to him, the blogger has announced his intention to mobilize in the coming months.<\/p>\n

Zolkin himself has not publicly commented on the situation with possible income and wealth.<\/p>\n
