President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the United States is offering Ukraine a complete withdrawal from Donbas in exchange for security guarantees necessary for a peace agreement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zelensky has repeatedly stressed the need for reliable security guarantees to ensure that Russia does not attack Ukraine again.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Americans are ready to complete the processing of these guarantees at a high level as soon as Ukraine is ready to withdraw troops from Donbas,\u201d the president said.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, according to him, this option would jeopardize the security of not only Ukraine, but also Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the Ukrainian Armed Forces withdraw from the territory of Donbas, they will give up strong defensive lines.<\/span><\/p>\n
