Russian state-owned energy companies may be involved in the removal of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories and their subsequent ideological influence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Center for Countering Disinformation.<\/p>\n

According to a Yale University study<\/a> , more than 2,000 children from Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhia regions were transported to camps in Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Some of these camps are associated with Gazprom structures, and Rosneft, according to researchers, facilitated the organization of trips through its own trade union programs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This concerns funding through special vouchers that allowed children to enter camps with ideological influence programs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, some of the children were taken away without the proper consent of their parents, which refutes the statements of Russian propaganda about alleged “evacuation” or “rehabilitation.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Center emphasizes that the forced displacement of children from occupied territories and attempts to change their identity is a war crime that has already been recorded by international institutions.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

New data indicates that these actions are systemic and are being implemented with the participation of the state and large corporations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that five more children were returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n
