Moldova plans to demand compensation from Russia for damage to the Isaccea-Vulcanesti power transmission line after an attack on Ukrainian infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> NewsMaker with reference to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mihai Popsoi.<\/p>\n

According to him, after the repairs are completed, the authorities will send a diplomatic note to the Russian side.<\/p>\n

The minister stressed that the priority now is to restore damaged infrastructure. The damage assessment will be conducted later.<\/p>\n

Popshoy emphasized that the incident caused significant damage to both the state and citizens, so it cannot be left without a reaction.<\/p>\n

The repair of the line, he said, should take no more than a week.<\/p>\n

In addition, Moldova plans to demand compensation for the pollution of the Dniester River, which occurred as a result of the attack on the Novodniestrovska HPP.<\/p>\n
