The US will fund programs to return Ukrainian children who were forcibly taken away by Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the US State Department.<\/p>\n

This is about $25 million, which will be directed towards the identification, return, and rehabilitation of children and youth.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The funding covers two key areas: searching and tracking deportees, and supporting the government of Ukraine and partner organizations in the recovery and assistance of returned children.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The State Department emphasized that this decision is part of a broader policy of supporting war victims and protecting the rights of the civilian population.<\/p>\n

The allocated funds will complement existing assistance programs aimed at supporting people affected by Russian aggression.<\/p>\n

The United States is currently coordinating with Ukrainian partners to effectively use the funding.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russian state-owned energy companies may be involved in the removal of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories and their subsequent ideological influence.<\/a><\/p>\n
