The United Kingdom is allocating an additional \u00a3100 million to strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> the British government.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The funds will be used to strengthen air defense systems, protect forward units and critical infrastructure from Russian air attacks.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“The UK will urgently allocate an additional \u00a3100 million to support Ukraine’s air defence,” the statement said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The British government notes that in total, over the past two months, the country has already allocated 600 million pounds to support Ukrainian air defense.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The new aid package was agreed upon after a meeting of the leaders of the Joint Expeditionary Force in Helsinki, where they discussed increasing support for Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The decision was also made following President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s recent visit to London.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Keir Starmer stressed that the United Kingdom will continue to support Ukraine in defending its sovereignty.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine announced that the country’s government is allocating another 56 million euros to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.<\/a><\/p>\n

Recall, the United States will finance programs to return Ukrainian children who were forcibly taken away by Russia.<\/a><\/p>\n
