At the same time, less risky platforms will be allowed to serve teenagers, but with enhanced security\u2014high levels of privacy, parental controls, and data collection restrictions.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1305\"> The Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">, Meutya Hafid,<\/span><\/span> stated that some companies have already begun adapting to the new requirements. Specifically, TikTok plans to gradually deactivate the accounts of users under 16, and Roblox plans to modify its functionality for children.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1549\"> X also announced its intention to raise the minimum user age to 16. <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Meta Platforms<\/span><\/span> stated that it has already transferred millions of teenagers to special &#8220;teen accounts&#8221; on Facebook and Instagram.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1551\" data-end=\"1755\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"> Companies that fail to comply with the new requirements could face sanctions, including restrictions on access to their services in Indonesia.
