Russian company Novatek suspended gas condensate processing and oil exports from the port of Ust-Luga after a UAV attack on March 25. A fire broke out at the facility, and the timing of the resumption of work remains unknown.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to sources, the attack caused a fire at the stable gas condensate fractionation units, as well as in several tanks with petroleum products.<\/p>\n

After the incident, the transshipment of oil and petroleum products at the port was stopped, and firefighting is ongoing.<\/p>\n

The Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, confirmed the fact of a fire in the port after the UAV attack, but did not provide details.<\/p>\n

The complex in the port of Ust-Luga has a nominal capacity of 9 million tons per year and processes gas condensate into light and heavy oil, kerosene, diesel fraction, and a component of marine fuel.<\/p>\n

According to the company, in 2025, the processing volume at this complex amounted to 8 million tons.<\/p>\n

Sources also note that the timing of the resumption of the complex’s operations and product exports is currently unknown.<\/p>\n

Previously, the Novatek complex in the port of Ust-Luga was already subject to UAV attacks in August 2025 and in January 2024.<\/p>\n
