The official tried to give a bribe in order to obtain a second group of disability and be discharged from military service.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This was reported <a href=\"https:\/\/dbr.gov.ua\/news\/hotiv-kupiti-invalidnist-za-6-tis.-dolariv-dbr-zatrimalo-polkovnika-nacgvardii\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">by the press service<\/a> of the State Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n<p> According to the investigation, the colonel offered a member of the expert team for the assessment of daily functioning an improper benefit of $6,000 for the registration of disability. At the same time, he had no real grounds for establishing such a group.<\/p>\n<p> Law enforcement officers detained the official after he transferred part of the funds in the amount of $3,000, as well as medical documents with signs of forgery.<\/p>\n<p> He has now been charged with providing an improper benefit to an official.<\/p>\n<p> The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of up to 8 years in prison.<\/p>\n<p> The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure is also being resolved.
