Russia has stated that Ukraine has two months to withdraw from Donbas, otherwise the terms of the war will change.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a conversation with journalists.<\/p>\n

According to him, the Kremlin is promoting the idea that the hot phase of the war will end only after the voluntary withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the east of the country.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In addition, the Russian side has told the Americans that it is supposedly capable of capturing Donbas in two months. If this does not happen, Russia promises to put forward new, tougher conditions.<\/p>\n

Zelenskyy drew attention to the contradictions in such statements and questioned their logic.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“If their goal is only Donbas, then why do they say that they will go further and there will be new conditions?” he noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The President emphasized that Moscow’s real intentions are much broader, and statements about limited goals do not correspond to reality.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, he expressed doubt that Russian troops are able to completely capture Donbas within the specified time frame.<\/p>\n

Zelensky also announced that a video conference with the American side will take place on April 1. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will also participate in it. The parties plan to discuss the prospects for trilateral agreements.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russian troops trying to occupy Hryshyne near Pokrovsk are complaining of problems, including a lack of food and water.<\/a><\/p>\n
