On March 31, 2019, Volodymyr Zelensky and company celebrated their victory. The results of the first round of voting made it clear that Ukrainians, like citizens of many other Central and Eastern European countries before them, had decided to believe in a fairy tale.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That success is achieved not by hard work, but by choosing the one who sings the sweetest. The one who promises everything at once.<\/p>\n

Then he wrote: if our society has decided to contract the virus of populism, it is very important to be ready to return to reason and normality when people’s eyes open.<\/p>\n

But Putin’s Russia has decided to take this chance away from us. As Putin told CIA Director Burns, “if not now, when?”<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian army, Ukrainian patriots, and civil society thwarted the dreams of the racists about the revival of the empire.<\/p>\n

The war continues. And if we want to survive and win, we must learn important lessons from 2019.<\/p>\n\t\t
