I would clearly divide his time as head of state into periods, and analyze: what situation happened, how did it arise, and how did Zelensky and his team get out of the situation?

Well, they interrupted with another piece of news, staged another provocation against Petro Poroshenko, and switched attention to the next situation…

I am convinced that based on the results of such research, a book could be written called “Ukrainians for Dummies” – a kind of manual for Ukrainian politicians of the future. A book that is truthful to the point of undisguised cynicism.

Because whether we like it or not, the presidency of Volodymyr Zelensky is the best destroyer of myths about Ukrainians, all these “cherry orchards around the house” and “I assert myself, I assert myself.” Zelensky managed to strip Ukrainians of all their pretentious attractiveness and show them to be real.

What did Zelensky reveal to us? Well, first of all, the fact that Ukrainians are no less sick of class hatred than Russians. “Green” propagandists constantly play on this thesis. Everyone who has a fortune above the average is immediately declared a thief, a swindler, a corrupt person, etc. Of course, this is most clearly manifested in the media attacks against the leader of EuroSolidarity Petro Poroshenko. But look at everyone else who somehow crossed the path of the Greens. Klitschko, Zheleznyak, Fiala, Bohdan…

“They Made Us Together”: How Ukraine Has Changed in the Seven Years Since the Fateful Elections

Further. Ukrainians have no respect for private property. Talk to ordinary people, and you will hear: “Take away! Confiscate! Give away…” And the average Ukrainian wants to give “what was expropriated from the expropriators”… to the state. So that it is “not someone else’s, but common.” It does not occur to a Ukrainian that giving property to the state means letting an official profit from it.

The only thing that a Ukrainian respects is the right to own property. At the same time, it does not occur to a Ukrainian that in order to protect the right to own property, one must protect the right to own property as such. Because it does not happen that way, the master can be dispossessed, but I, the beloved, cannot. This has been proven by Bolshevik collectivization. And not only.

The same slogans “take away and divide” were very popular during the times of the Cossacks, in the Zaporizhian Sich. Are you aware that the Cossack foremen in the Hetmanate had to live not on private property, but on the comradely property, which was supposedly given to them for the period of their office?
Next. Ukrainians really don’t give a damn about freedom of speech. If there is an opportunity to shut up an opponent, Ukrainians will happily do it, even by simply not interfering. This is proven by the history of the TV channels “Pryamy”, “P’yaty” and “Espresso”. Remind me how many representatives of the journalistic community (the same ones who flaunted the “I’m not dear to you” T-shirts) spoke out against their disconnection from cable networks? I’m not talking about ordinary citizens at all. And why did everyone ignore the event? Well, because “Poroshenko’s channels”. Like – they can.

Nobody turned it off, there just wasn’t enough space: a Donetsk court explained why “Pryamyy” is not on the air

Let’s continue. Ukrainians can be manipulated, the only question is the price. Massive aggressive agitation (1+1, Kvartal, TV channels of other politicians together) is capable of overthrowing any reformist leader. This is proven by the history of Petro Poroshenko, as well as the hetmans Ivan Mazepa and Pavlo Skoropadsky. Even more. Having bought into the agitation, a Ukrainian categorically does not admit that he was wrong. Admitting a mistake for an average Ukrainian is practically a change in sexual orientation.

We can go on and on. Ukrainians have many amazing abilities, which Zelensky demonstrates to us openly and shamelessly. And they need to be explored. We need to know.

We have long resisted enemies – underground and openly. But now Ukrainians have met with themselves. And have shied away from what they have seen. The nation of Ukrainians is now in the mood of an infantile teenager who has first encountered the real difficulties of an independent state and has two paths. Either overcome the difficulties (and soon encounter new ones), or break down. Or develop and become rich and successful, or – collapse and disappear.

Ukrainians elected Zelensky. Zelensky is now revealing to us the whole essence of Ukrainians.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram.

• Materials published in the “OPINIONS” section reflect the opinion of the author of the publication, who bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the information.
• The editorial staff of prm.ua may not share the opinions expressed in the author’s material.
• The owner of the webpage in the “OPINIONS” section is the author of the publication.

Source: Author’s Facebook page If I weren’t serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine right now and had time for creativity like before mobilization, I would now start researching the presidency of Volodymyr Zelensky.
