Russian troops in the Pokrovsky direction have intensified the use of heavy unmanned aerial vehicles and drones with incendiary munitions. Despite this, the enemy’s assault actions remain ineffective and fruitless.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the unit, the enemy continues to put pressure on Ukrainian positions, trying to find weak spots in the defense. However, these attempts are not bringing the expected result.<\/p>\n

“The enemy continues to press, but to no avail. Assault actions remain ineffective,” the brigade noted.<\/p>\n

The unit also reported a change in tactics for using drones. While previously the use of heavy drones was isolated, now it has become a systematic practice.<\/p>\n

“The enemy is more actively using heavy drones for reconnaissance. Now this is a systematic work, the enemy is trying to act more precisely and go deeper into our defense,” the military reported.<\/p>\n

Separately, there has been an increase in the use of drones with incendiary munitions of the Drakaris type, which the occupiers use in dry weather to damage the area.<\/p>\n

“Taking advantage of the dry weather, the occupiers are trying to burn down areas of the area to deprive our units of shelter,” the brigade emphasized.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Ukrainian military notes that they are implementing countermeasures to reduce the effectiveness of such attacks and maintain control over positions. There are also reports of the enemy accumulating personnel for new assaults.<\/p>\n

By the way, the Russians have begun using a new tactic<\/a> , installing mock-ups of missiles on Shahed drones to deceive Ukrainian air defense forces.<\/p>\n

Recall that in Ukraine, the use of Russian drones of the \u201cShahed\u201d type for dropping mines<\/a> has been recorded. One drone can drop up to 8 mines at a time, which creates an additional threat to the population.<\/p>\n
