Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva will play against American Madison Keys in the semifinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Charleston on April 4. The match will start no earlier than 9:30 p.m. Kyiv time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Starodubtseva, ranked 89th in the WTA rankings, has reached the semifinals of this tournament for the first time in her career. On the way to this stage, the Ukrainian defeated Zhang Shuai 6-3, 6-0, Ekaterina Gorgodze 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, Renata Sarasoa 6-1, 6-0, and McCartney Kessler 6-4, 6-4.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the athlete has already earned $110,000 for reaching the semifinals. It is expected that she will rise at least 27 positions in the world ranking following the tournament.<\/p>\n
