The main reason is failure to undergo a repeat medical examination within the established time frame.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfu.gov.ua\/kh\/246097-vidmova-vid-vyplaty-pensiyi\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Pension Fund of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> It is noted that the disability pension is assigned for a specified period. After its expiration, payments are automatically terminated <strong>unless the person confirms their status through a re-examination<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p> It is noted that a key factor is <strong>timely reassessment of health status<\/strong> . A new approach to determining a person&#8217;s functioning was implemented with the participation of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> In particular, <strong>the mandatory review applies to men aged 25 to 60<\/strong> with the second or third disability group who were supposed to undergo a re-examination in 2022-2024, but did not do so. For other categories of citizens, the deadline for undergoing a re-examination has been extended to April 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, the Pension Fund emphasizes that these requirements do not apply to certain categories. In particular, payments will not be suspended for persons with permanent disability, those whose status was established after the changes, as well as military personnel and civil defense representatives.<\/p>\n<p> Certain exceptions are provided for people who are in temporarily occupied territories, in combat zones, or have severe impairments of body functions.<\/p>\n<p> The department also notes that payments may be temporarily suspended for other reasons. Among them:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> lack of transactions on the pension account for a long time;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> failure to pass mandatory physical identification.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> To resume payments, you must confirm your identity and contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine or use online services. After passing the verification, pension accrual is resumed.<\/p>\n<p> It was previously reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/z-1-kvitnia-v-ukraini-pererakhuiut-pensii-koho-tse-stosuietsia\/\">from April 1, Ukraine will automatically recalculate pensions, but it will not cover all citizens<\/a> .
