Russian forces have been attacking Naftogaz facilities in Ukraine for the second day in a row, particularly in Poltava and Sumy regions. The strikes have caused fires, but no workers have been injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It is noted that on the night of April 5, Russian drones again attacked a gas production facility in the Poltava region, which had already been subjected to shelling the day before.<\/p>\n

Another oil and gas facility in Sumy Oblast was also hit, where a fire broke out as a result of the attack.<\/p>\n

“For the second day in a row, the Russians are purposefully attacking the oil and gas infrastructure of the Naftogaz Group. At night, drones again attacked a gas production facility in the Poltava region, which was shelled yesterday during the day,” said Serhiy Koretsky.<\/p>\n

The State Emergency Service units were involved in eliminating the consequences of the fire.<\/p>\n

“Another oil and gas facility in the Sumy region was also hit. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at the site. Units of the State Emergency Service were involved in the liquidation,” said Serhiy Koretsky.<\/p>\n

The company noted that employees were in shelters during the attacks.<\/p>\n

“Fortunately, people were in shelters \u2014 none of the employees were injured,” said Serhiy Koretsky.<\/p>\n
