The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of 8 a.m. on April 6, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The defense forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their position and advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment. In total , 120 combat clashes have been recorded over the past 24 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck eight areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment, a UAV control point, and another important facility.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 72 air strikes, dropping 242 guided bombs. In addition, it used 8,367 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,404 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 52 from multiple rocket launchers.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the populated areas of Varvarivka, Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, Hulyaipilske, Kopani, Zaliznychne, Novoselivka, Dolynka, Komyshuvakha, Novoyakovlevka in Zaporizhia region; Rozlyv and Zorivka in Kherson region.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions over the past day, the enemy carried out one air strike using three anti-aircraft missiles, and carried out 83 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two using MLRS. One clash was recorded.<\/p>\n

In the South-Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the enemy twice tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the direction of Starytsia and Vovchansk.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the direction of Novoosynovoye, Novoplatonivka, Petropavlivka, and Kurylivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked twice, trying to penetrate our defenses, attacking in the direction of the settlements of Kopanky and Lyman.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped four attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Yampol, Zakytne, and Riznykovka.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, the enemy twice attacked the positions of our defenders in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Ivano-Pol, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 25 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopavlivka, and Filiya.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked eight times in the areas of the settlements of Sichneve, Krasnohirske and towards Sosnivka, Stepovoye, Verbovoye, and Kalynivske.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, there were 12 attacks by the invaders in the direction of Zaliznychny, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipilske, Svyatopetrivka, Varvarivka, and Zeleny.<\/p>\n

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, the enemy conducted three futile assault operations in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge and near the Bilogruy Island.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, putting up effective resistance on all sections of the front.<\/p>\n

By the way, last day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 940 people<\/a> . The enemy also lost two tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, 58 artillery systems, 1953 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 259 units of automotive equipment.<\/p>\n
