The Ukrainian military has for the first time destroyed the Russian satellite terminal “Spirit-030”, which the occupiers began to use on the front. The Russian Federation uses these systems as an alternative to Starlink after restricting access to it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> Sergey “Flash” Beskrestnov.<\/p>\n

According to a specialist in the field of military radio technology and advisor to the Minister of Defense, after losing access to Starlink satellite communication systems, the Russian army began massively supplying new terminals to the front lines.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter we deprived the enemy of Starlink, the issue of satellite communications became extremely urgent for the Russians. The existing terminals of the Russian satellite Internet have very large antennas, and we instantly detect and destroy them,\u201d Beskrestnov said.<\/p>\n

He noted that the new Spirit-030 terminals are more mobile, can be carried, and are also less noticeable to intelligence.<\/p>\n

According to him, these devices work with a geostationary communications satellite, which allows the use of antennas with a diameter of 30 cm instead of 90 cm.<\/p>\n

At the same time, pilots of the 414th Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces “Birds of the Magyar” first discovered and destroyed one of such terminals on the front line.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russia has launched the first communications satellites into orbit that can be used as an alternative to Starlink<\/a> for the military.<\/p>\n

At the same time , Russian troops are trying to compensate for restrictions on access to Starlink and are changing the tactics of using drones on the front.<\/a><\/p>\n
