On April 4-5, the 15th anniversary Work.ua Kyiv Half Marathon of Invincibility 2026, the second stage of the Naftogaz Running League of Invincibility 2026 from Run Ukraine, took place in Kyiv.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, the Kyiv Half Marathon is an international event. 9,750 participants<\/b> from<\/span> 28 countries<\/b> took part in the event<\/span> , including runners from the USA, Great Britain, France, the Czech Republic, Japan, and New Zealand. This year, more participants came from Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kharkiv.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the fourth year in a row,<\/span> the Work.ua Kyiv Invincibility Half Marathon<\/b> has brought together thousands of runners to support medical volunteers. We donated 50% of the race proceeds to the<\/span> Hospitallers<\/b> Volunteer Medical Battalion , which has been participating in the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2014. This year, the charitable donation amounted to<\/span> UAH 1,177,650.<\/b> <\/p>\n

“This race isn’t just about kilometers or minutes; it’s about so much more for each of us. Today, participants will cover different distances: from 5 to 21 kilometers. However, it’s important to remember that we are all running a single distance\u2014for Ukraine, which never gives up. Friends, run with your heart, with gratitude and glory!”<\/span><\/i> said<\/span> Dmitry Chernitsky<\/b> , founder of Run Ukraine and a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war.<\/span><\/p>\n

The title partner<\/span> of the Kyiv Half Marathon<\/b> is<\/span> Work.ua,<\/b> the number one job search service in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Such large-scale events unite businesses and people from various fields \u2013 military personnel, artists, athletes. This is a true point of unity where we realize: we are the only ones. As part of<\/span> the 15th Work.ua<\/b> Kyiv Invincibility Half Marathon 2026,<\/b> the Ukrainian<\/b> Road Running<\/span> Championships were held<\/span> across three distances among adults, youth, and juniors (21 km, 5 km, 1 mile), held jointly with the Ukrainian Athletics Federation.<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus,<\/span> the fastest professional track and field athletes of Ukraine took<\/span> to the start of the main distance – 21.0975 km<\/b> , at distances of<\/span> 5 km<\/b> and<\/span> 1 mile<\/b> (1.6 km).<\/p>\n

The winner<\/span> of the Ukrainian Championship in the 21 km distance<\/b> was<\/span> Gorodisskiy Bogdan-Ivan<\/b> with a result of 1:04:51, second place went to<\/span> Strebkov Ivan<\/b> with a finishing time of 1:05:24, and third place went to<\/span> Siruk Dmitry<\/b> – 1:05:39.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I ran very well today. My coach instructed me to run softly and then really ramp up in the final kilometers. We stayed in a group until the 13th kilometer, and then\u2014about a kilometer before the Northern Bridge\u2014I ran alone. Due to certain health issues, I stayed until the very last moment.” However, running at home is always nice\u2014the support of friends and other athletes helps immensely<\/span><\/i> ,” commented<\/span> Bogdan-Ivan<\/b> Gorodisky<\/b> .<\/span> <\/p>\n

Natalia Strebkova<\/b> won the women’s race with a time<\/span> of 1:13:14.<\/span> Ivanna Chereshnevskaya<\/b> finished second with a time of 1:15:21. Natalia Burkovskaya<\/b> finished third<\/span> with a time of 1:16:16, thus meeting the standard for the Master of Sports title.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I ran a little slower than at the Warsaw Half Marathon two weeks ago, where I set a personal best of 1:11:18. I wish I had more competitors running alongside me so we could shield each other from the wind, but I had to cover the entire distance on my own. This is my first season. I feel in great physical shape: I have a lot of strength and motivation to run again,”<\/span><\/i> Natalia Strebkova<\/b> commented on her victory<\/span> .<\/p>\n

For the first time in Ukraine,<\/b> Run Ukraine held<\/span> the Ukrainian Age Category Championship<\/b> , covering a distance of 21.0975 km. All registered participants aged 35 and over participated in the championship.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Work.ua<\/span> Kyiv Nezlomnosti 2026 Half Marathon<\/b> also included individual races of 10 km and 5 km, a symbolic veterans’ race<\/span> , “<\/span><\/i> Heroes of the Nation,” and children’s races.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each finisher<\/span> of the Work.ua Kyiv Invincibility Half Marathon 2026<\/b> received<\/span> a unique medal<\/b> commemorating the event. Its shape reproduces rays merging into a single whole, symbolizing the power of unity. Each runner is a beam of energy. But only together do these rays create a powerful flow capable of transforming the space around them.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kyiv Half Marathon also concluded its<\/span> Bigosbor.Spring event<\/b> , where Run Ukraine, along with its partners and runners, converted the kilometers they collected into charitable donations.<\/span> <\/p>\n
