Increasing the financial support of military personnel is possible only if three key conditions are met.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by military ombudsman Olga Reshetylova in an interview<\/a> with RBC-Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The first condition is the support of international partners and the understanding that the Ukrainian army actually protects European borders.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“The issue of financial support for military personnel can be resolved in several ways. The first is the awareness of our European partners that the Ukrainian army is a European army and the protection of the European border,” Reshetylova noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Ombudsman called the second condition the optimization of internal processes in the state, and the third – the willingness of society to partially abandon social benefits in favor of financing the army.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to her, only after these conditions are met will it be possible to review the level of payments to the military, but this process will not be quick.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“We all need to understand that in the fifth year of a full-scale war, something has to be given up somewhere, but you can never give up your own army,” she emphasized.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, since January 1, 2026, the salaries of social workers in Ukraine have increased significantly.<\/a><\/p>\n

Let us remind you that the salaries of teachers of higher education institutions have been increased by 40% since January, and the funds will be recalculated by the end of the month.<\/a> <\/p>\n
