{"id":1379314,"date":"2026-04-07T17:32:51","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T14:32:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/military-conscription-will-remain-for-another-three-years-after-the-end-of-the-war-verkhovna-rada-decision\/"},"modified":"2026-04-07T17:32:51","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T14:32:51","slug":"military-conscription-will-remain-for-another-three-years-after-the-end-of-the-war-verkhovna-rada-decision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/military-conscription-will-remain-for-another-three-years-after-the-end-of-the-war-verkhovna-rada-decision\/","title":{"rendered":"Military conscription will remain for another three years after the end of the war \u2014 Verkhovna Rada decision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On Tuesday, April 7, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada supported a bill to extend military conscription for another three years after the end of the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This was announced by the press services<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/verkhovna.rada.ukraine\/posts\/pfbid02uNLFYAoefYk2Gv5rDh2h8b1umMZgFhBsfBa2GYDhRFA65FynjouaD7stDBpxE5ypl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the parliament<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mof.gov.ua\/uk\/news\/verkhovna_rada_priiniala_zakon_shchodo_prodovzhennia_splati_viiskovogo_zboru_dlia_finansuvannia_sferi_oboroni-5670\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the Ministry of Finance<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;It provides for the extension of the current provisions of tax legislation regarding military levies for three years following the year in which martial law is terminated,&#8221; the Verkhovna Rada explained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The adoption of the bill is one of the requirements of the International Monetary Fund. In this way, Ukraine will be able to attract about 140 billion hryvnias to the state budget per year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The funds received through military levies will be directed to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the same time, the current rates will be saved:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for individuals &#8211; 5% (for military personnel and employees of the security and defense sector &#8211; 1.5% of income in the form of cash benefits (except for income exempt from taxation by military conscription);<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for individual entrepreneurs of the 1st, 2nd and 4th groups of the single tax &#8211; 10% of the minimum wage established on January 1 of the reporting year;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for single tax payers of the 3rd group (individuals &#8211; entrepreneurs and legal entities, except e-residents) &#8211; 1% of income.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is noted that 257 deputies voted &#8220;for&#8221;, 2 voted &#8220;against&#8221;, and another 41 people&#8217;s deputies did not vote.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> Earlier, Poroshenko stated from the parliament rostrum that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/petro-poroshenko-koshty-viyskovoho-zboru-i-viyskovykh-ovdp-maiut-yty-vykliuchno-na-finansuvannia-armii\/\">the funds from the military levy, as well as military domestic government bonds, should go only to finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> Also follow <strong>\u201cPryamim\u201d<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prm_ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">X<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+rtV4dxYu2_cyNjVi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Telegram<\/a> , and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, April 7, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada supported a bill to extend military conscription for another three years after the end of the war.
