Over the past 24 hours, 170 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Russian troops continue massive attacks: using aviation, kamikaze drones, and artillery. At the same time, the Defense Forces are restraining the offensive and striking back.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on April 8.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 71 air strikes, dropped 245 guided bombs. In addition, it used 8,425 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,292 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 51 from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Buvalyne, Tovstodubovo in the Sumy region; Velykymykhaylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhenska, Tavriyske, Novomykolaivka in the Zaporizhia region and the city of Kherson.<\/p>\n

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck three areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, two drone control points, and an artillery system of the occupiers.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions over the past day, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy attacks, the enemy carried out 78 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including two using multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out four air strikes using ten guided bombs.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchansk, Lyman, and in the direction of Grafske.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction, the aggressor attacked seven times in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Novoosinove.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of Lyman, Drobyshevye, Stavki, Dibrova, and towards the settlement of Tverdokhlibovo.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped nine attempts by the occupiers to advance towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and near Riznykivka and Ozerne.<\/p>\n

The invaders did not carry out any attacks in the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction in the past day.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 32 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and towards the settlement of Pavlivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 26 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Rivne, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Dachne, Filiya, Muravka, and Novopavlivka.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked 12 times in the areas of the settlements of Sosnivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Kalynivske, Verbov, Sichneve, Vorone and towards the settlement of Lisne.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, there were 26 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillya, Tsvitkove, Varvarivka, Hulyaipilske, Svyatopetrivka, Pryluky, Hirke, Olenokostyantynivka, and Zaliznychne.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, the enemy once tried to advance in the area of the settlement of Kamianske.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian units stopped five enemy attacks near the Antoniv Bridge.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n
