Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha<\/span><\/span> stated that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s<\/span><\/span> proposal for an Easter ceasefire “has a chance of being implemented.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote about this on social media, emphasizing that Ukrainians deserve a peaceful celebration without shelling.<\/p>\n

“Ukrainians deserve a holiday without terror. We’ll see when and where silence prevails, and we’ll respond in kind,” the Foreign Minister noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Sibiga emphasized that a longer ceasefire could pave the way for real diplomatic processes and an end to the war.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, a ceasefire is the right strategy for advancing diplomacy both in the case of Russian aggression against Ukraine and in other conflicts, particularly in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin<\/span><\/span> announced his readiness<\/a> for the so-called “Easter truce.” According to the Kremlin, it is scheduled to be in effect from 4:00 PM on April 11 until the end of the day on April 12. Moscow also stated that it expects “mirror actions” from Ukraine.<\/p>\n
