Russia has resumed crude oil exports from the Sheskharis terminal in the port of Novorossiysk after a halt due to a drone attack and fire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reuters reports<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

The terminal, which handles about 700,000 barrels of oil per day and is one of Russia’s key export hubs in the Black Sea, was shut down for nearly five days after the drone attack.<\/p>\n

Currently, the terminal has one berth. They plan to send a tanker with a capacity of about 80 thousand tons from there today.<\/p>\n

The agency’s sources also report that fuel oil loading resumed at the port on April 9. In addition, one shipment of diesel fuel was made from there during the week.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the full timeframe for the port’s restoration has not yet been determined.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that on April 5, drones attacked the Russian city of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Territory. The strike caused a fire at the Sheskharis oil terminal.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of April 5 , the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of facilities of the Russian aggressor, including an oil refinery, a port<\/a> , and an aircraft equipment warehouse. As a result of the attacks, fires were recorded at some facilities, and the extent of the damage is being determined.<\/p>\n
