Ukraine and Germany have agreed on key areas of defense cooperation ahead of the Ramstein format meeting, which will take place on April 15.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, during a conversation with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, the parties discussed solutions that will strengthen Ukraine in both the short and long term.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In particular, this concerns a significant strengthening of air defense, additional funding for drones, including deep-strike and middle-strike, the development of joint technologies, and new formats for exchanging combat data.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Special attention was paid to innovative projects, particularly in the field of laser technologies.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Fedorov emphasized that Germany remains one of Ukraine’s key partners, in particular thanks to support during the winter period, participation in the “Czech initiative” and the supply of PAC-3 missiles for air defense systems.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He emphasized that Ukraine plans to scale up air defense and, together with partners, provide long-term solutions to protect the sky. <\/p>\n
