The administration of US President Donald Trump<\/span><\/span> has unveiled a design for a 76-metre triumphal arch planned for construction in Washington<\/span><\/span> .<\/strong><\/p>\n

The BBC<\/a> reports this.<\/p>\n

The White House<\/span><\/span> announced that it had formally submitted the project to the Commission on Fine Arts. According to media reports, the commission includes Trump allies, and the proposal is expected to be reviewed as early as next week.<\/p>\n

The monument has already been unofficially dubbed the “Trump Arch.” The president himself has called it “the greatest and most beautiful triumphal arch in the world.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“This will be a wonderful addition to the Washington, D.C., landscape that all Americans can enjoy for decades to come,” he wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the released images, the arch will feature a gold inscription reading “One Nation Under God.” The top of the structure will be adorned with two golden eagles and a winged figure of Lady Liberty, and lion statues will be installed at the base.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As White House spokesman Davis Ingle<\/span><\/span> noted, the monument should become a symbol of honoring American heroes.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“This arch will enhance the Arlington National Cemetery experience for veterans, families of the fallen, and all Americans,” he said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, the White House has not yet specified the funds it plans to use to implement this project. <\/p>\n
