Former US Vice President Kamala Harris<\/span><\/span> said she is considering running again for president in 2028.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She said this during an event organized by the National Action Network<\/span><\/span> (NAN), The New York Times<\/span><\/span> reports.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Maybe, maybe. I’m thinking about it… I know what the job is, and I know what it takes,” Harris noted, noting her experience working in the White House.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the politician, after a break in her political career, she traveled around the United States and came to the conclusion that \u201cthe status quo does not work for many people.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“It has to be about the American people… I think about it in the context of who, where, and how can best do the job,” she added.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Harris is expected to attend a fundraising event for the South Carolina Democratic Party soon.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Harris also criticized the policies of her election opponent, Donald Trump<\/span><\/span> , saying he is “the first US president since World War II who doesn’t believe in international alliances.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

She also called the US operation against Iran a “war of choice” and expressed concern about the possible weakening of voting rights in the country.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This includes, in particular, a potential revision of the rules prohibiting discriminatory practices during voting, ensuring the representation of minorities in electoral districts. <\/p>\n
