Metropolitan Epiphanius<\/span><\/span> of Kyiv and All Ukraine, in his Easter message, called on Ukrainians to maintain faith, unity, and hope for victory, even during war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

During the service at St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedral,<\/span><\/span> he emphasized that evil and darkness do not have their own essence, but only exist where there is a lack of light, goodness, and truth.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, even the smallest light can dispel darkness, and the light of Christ is even more powerful. He emphasized that Ukrainians have already proven this by surviving the difficult periods of war and maintaining humanity and mutual support.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Epiphanius expressed special gratitude to the Ukrainian military, calling them “warriors of light,” and also thanked volunteers, medics, rescuers, and everyone who helps those affected by the war.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He also addressed Ukrainians who are under occupation or in captivity, assuring them that they are remembered and that prayers are being made for their release.<\/p>\n

The Metropolitan also congratulated the President of Ukraine and all government officials on Easter, wishing them wisdom and strength in serving the state.<\/p>\n

Concluding his message, Epiphanius called on Ukrainians not to lose hope and to believe in the victory of good, emphasizing the main meaning of the holiday: light always triumphs over darkness.<\/p>\n
