By comparison, during the 2022 elections, the turnout was lower at 3:00 PM (52.8%).<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"605\"> Particularly high activity is observed in regions where support is traditionally found for the Tisza party led by <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">P\u00e9ter Magyar<\/span><\/span> , the main opponent of the current Prime Minister <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Viktor Orb\u00e1n<\/span><\/span> and his Fidesz party.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"607\" data-end=\"669\"> The highest turnout was recorded in the electoral districts of Pest County: <\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"923\"><\/p>\n<li data-section-id=\"1gmsiab\" data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"771\"> In the 2nd district (the center is the city of Buda\u00f6rs), 61.16% of voters have already voted (versus 44.09% in 2022);<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li data-section-id=\"1m7hd6l\" data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"865\"> In the 15th district <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">of Budapest,<\/span><\/span> turnout exceeded 60% (previously \u2013 42.25%);<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li data-section-id=\"1l5r91v\" data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"923\"> High figures are also seen in the 5th district (Dunakezi and Ged).<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"1057\"> According to journalists, the largest influx of people occurred in the morning hours, and by lunchtime the queues at the polling stations had practically disappeared.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1214\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"> Analysts note that such a high turnout could have a significant impact on the voting results, especially given the tense struggle between the government and the opposition. <\/p>\n<div class=\"full-post__content font-rules\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"full-post__content font-rules\">\n<p> Also follow <strong>&#8220;Pryamy&#8221;<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prm_ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">X<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+rtV4dxYu2_cyNjVi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Telegram<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pryamiy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parliamentary elections began in Hungary on Sunday, April 12, and have already seen record voter turnout.
