Petro Poroshenko congratulated the democratic choice of the Hungarian people and the victory of the “Tysa” party and its leader Peter Magyar.<\/span><\/p>\n

As you know, the Tysa party, like European Solidarity, is part of the political family of the European People’s Party.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It was a very competitive, dramatic, emotional and dynamic campaign that made many sincerely worry about its course. The choice has been made, so it’s time to lower the level of election rhetoric and return to pragmatic work in the interests of the state and citizens and Europe,” the leader of Eurosolidarity wrote on social networks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Poroshenko added that Ukraine would like to see Hungary as a good friend, an important partner, and a reliable neighbor.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cUltimately, our common future is in the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance. That is how it will be!\u201d he emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, as of the morning of April 13, the voting results in Hungary have been almost completely processed<\/a> . According to the calculations of 98.94% of the votes, the opposition party “Tisa” led by Peter Magyar is leading by a wide margin.<\/p>\n
