Russian diplomatic institutions are spreading information accusing international organizations of \u201cdouble standards\u201d in counting the number of dead journalists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> the Center for Countering Disinformation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Russians allegedly believe that a number of “military journalists” were not included in the international lists of journalists who died in the line of duty.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cRussia insists that this is \u2018bias,\u2019 but it is rather proof that the activities of Russian propagandists in the war zone have nothing to do with real journalism and contradict the standards of journalistic activity,\u201d the CPR emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

As noted, many of the Russian state media’s “military correspondents” closely cooperate with the occupying army. According to the center, during their reports, they visit positions on the front, wear military uniforms without markings, and spread Kremlin narratives.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact, we are talking about information support for combat operations, which is often a component of military operations,\u201d the center explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of the relevant statements by the Russian Federation is to distract the attention of the world community from the Russians’ use of the media as a tool of war.<\/span><\/p>\n
