On the afternoon of April 13, drones attacked the Russian chemical plant \u201cCherepovets-Azot\u201d in the city of Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> the OSINT channel “CyberBoroshno”.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of several hits, a fire broke out at the enterprise, and thick black smoke rose into the sky.<\/span><\/p>\n

Analysts noticed smoke above two of the three ammonia plants, with a combined capacity of 900,000 tons per year. In addition, there was probably a hit to the ammonia storage of these plants. The latter facility was additionally protected from UAVs by the Russians with a special metal structure.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, according to Vologda Oblast Governor Georgy Filimonov, a \u201cdrone danger\u201d regime has been declared in the region. He added that 13 UAVs were allegedly shot down while approaching the Cherepovets industrial site.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEmergency services specialists are working at the site of the debris fall,\u201d the Russian official wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is worth noting that Cherepovets-Azot is one of the largest ammonia producers in Russia. The enterprise provides about 6% of ammonia production in the country.<\/span> <\/p>\n
