Russian propaganda is spreading fake claims that Ukraine allegedly shelled its own rear positions during the so-called “Easter truce.” This refers to the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CPD notes that there is no evidence for such accusations. The Russian side is limited to statements by pro-Kremlin speakers without confirmation by facts.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Ukrainian side recorded more than 10,000 ceasefire violations by Russian troops.<\/p>\n

The Central Intelligence Agency emphasizes that the purpose of such informational attacks is to justify their own shelling and shift responsibility onto Ukraine.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, Russian propaganda is once again spreading disinformation about the alleged existence of so-called “death factories” in Ukraine for holding prisoners of war.<\/a><\/p>\n
