In the summer, Ukraine is expected to experience intense heat, reaching +40\u00b0C. This will increase electricity consumption. Experts do not rule out the risk of outages during the hottest periods.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to experts, June, July, and August may be the most difficult months for the energy sector. It is during this period that electricity consumption increases due to the heat, and part of the generation traditionally decreases due to planned repairs.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn July and August, the level of generation from nuclear plants is the lowest, and consumption is maximum,\u201d energy experts note.<\/p>\n

An additional risk factor remains Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, which have repeatedly led to capacity shortages in the system.<\/p>\n

At the same time, experts emphasize that the situation is partially stabilized by the development of reserve generation, which the business has built up in recent years. This helps reduce the load on the network during peak hours.<\/p>\n

In an optimistic scenario, it is possible to do without outage schedules in the summer. But for this to happen, several conditions must be met: the absence of new massive shocks, stable operation of the power system, and scheduled repairs without emergency failures.<\/p>\n
