People are promised safe service close to home, but in reality, things are different.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/CenterCounteringDisinformation\/17725\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Center for Countering Disinformation.<\/p>\n<p> According to the department, the occupation structures are actively offering Crimeans contract service, in particular in unmanned systems units that are allegedly deployed on the peninsula.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThe occupation structures promise local residents \u201cservice at home\u201d\u2026 This approach gives the illusion of security,\u201d the CPD notes.<\/p>\n<p> However, after signing the contract, these promises are not fulfilled.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cIn practice, people are being sent outside Crimea to participate in hostilities against Ukraine,\u201d the report notes.<\/p>\n<p> The Center explains that in this way Russia is trying to replenish its army amid heavy losses.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cRussia is deliberately misleading people,\u201d the department emphasizes.<\/p>\n<p> They also remind us that the mobilization of the population in the occupied territories contradicts the norms of international humanitarian law.<\/p>\n<p> The Center adds that such a practice shows Russia&#8217;s real attitude towards the residents of the occupied territories.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cIn fact, this demonstrates the treatment of people as a resource\u2026 people are being tricked into joining the war,\u201d the report says.<\/p>\n<p> Recall that the Russians are actively using their presence in the countries of the Global South <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/rosiia-prodovzhuie-verbuvaty-naymantsiv-u-krainakh-hlobalnoho-pivdnia-tspd\/\">to recruit mercenaries for the war against Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n<p> As reported, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/rosiia-systemno-verbuie-afrykantsiv-na-viynu-proty-ukrainy\/\">Russia has changed its approach to recruiting foreigners to participate in the war against Ukraine<\/a> .
