The future Prime Minister of Hungary, Peter Magyar, said that Budapest will lift its veto on a 90 billion loan for Ukraine after the restoration of the Druzhba oil pipeline.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by Bloomberg.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Magyar said his country would not prevent Kyiv from receiving financial assistance from the EU. However, he added that Budapest would still maintain its refusal to participate in the loan.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the future head of the Hungarian government expects that current Prime Minister Viktor Orban will lift his veto on the loan once the damaged oil pipeline resumes operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, Zelenskyy announced that the repair of the Druzhba oil pipeline, damaged by Russian attacks, is planned to be completed this spring<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Ukraine recently agreed to the European Union’s offer of financial and technical assistance<\/a> to restore the pipeline.<\/p>\n

Recall, in March , European leaders were unable to convince Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to abandon<\/a> the decision to block a $90 billion loan for Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It is known that Orban stated in Brussels that Budapest will not unblock the decision in favor of Ukraine until the Druzhba oil pipeline resumes operation<\/a> .<\/p>\n
