The Netherlands will transfer a ship to Ukraine, which will become part of the Navy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This became known during a joint press conference between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Dutch Prime Minister Rob Etienne on Thursday.<\/p>\n

According to the head of the Dutch government, the ship is currently in the harbor of the city of Vlissingen. It will join the Ukrainian fleet in the near future.<\/p>\n

“It will become part of the Ukrainian fleet. In this way, we are helping not only Ukraine, but also the entire European continent,” said Yetten.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the Netherlands systematically supports Ukraine in various areas – from air defense to combat aviation, financial and political assistance.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The parties also agreed to work together on the development and protection of Ukraine’s energy sector, in particular decentralized energy. The first draft of the relevant document has already been prepared.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As previously reported, a bill was presented in Italy that provides for sending decommissioned fishing nets to Ukraine to protect against drones.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Poland has not yet transferred MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine and is continuing negotiations on the terms of such transfer.<\/a><\/p>\n
